                               Madhya Pradesh scraps age limit for college admissions! By Patricia Dsouza In an extremely competitive world were lagging behind can cost you a life time of regret, Madhya Pradesh government has given hope to many students by doing away with the upper age limit set for seeking admissions in the current academic year. The upper age limit was one of the main deterrents for admitting more students to under graduation and post-graduation programmes.   The maximum age limit for admission to undergraduate programmes in MP was 21 years and 28 years for postgraduate courses. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students were granted an additional relaxation period of 3 years. The admission process for the academic year 2021-22 will commence from 1st August. The state government is hoping to see a rise in the number of applicants with this relaxation.     This decision made by the Education Department, MP, has brought relief to many educationists.
