Zoology is one of the most popular branches in Life Sciences. It involves the study of animals and their biological processes. The course is offered at both the graduate and postgraduate levels. A post graduate in Zoology can further opt for Ph.D. in Zoology. In zoology the basic topics on which one is trained are animal anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, evolution, ecology, behavior, and biodiversity conservation.

Career options after pursuing a B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. in Zoology are varied.
